Content Studio / Content Studio Administration
Working with Events
Create and maintain Events, dates, types, and event-specific content.
Find or Create an Event
Select Events. Use the dashboard search and filters to find an existing Event, then select Edit, or select + New Event to open a blank editor.
Choose the Event Type
Choose Dated Event for an activity tied to a calendar date. Event Date is required for a dated Event; Event Time is optional. Choose Recurring Event for an activity that repeats without a single required date. Enter a Recurring Label such as “Every Friday Night”; this label is required and is displayed as written.
A recurring Event can also use an optional Recurring Graphic from Media Manager. The graphic replaces the date badge while the recurring label remains visible.
Complete and Save the Event
Enter the Title and main content. You can also set a Custom Slug, Banner image and alt text, Location Name, City, State, External Link, Link Label, and Tags. If Link Label is empty, the public link label defaults to More Info.
Use the Draft / Published toggle to control whether the Event can appear publicly, then select Save Event. Events do not use the Post-only Save & Preview action.
Recovering Unsaved Changes
If your Content Studio session expires while you're editing a post or event, your unsaved changes can be recovered. When this happens, Content Studio will ask you to sign in again. After signing in, you'll be offered two options:
Restore Changes — Returns your unsaved edits to the editor so you can continue working.
Discard Changes — Discards the recovered edits and returns to the previously saved content.
Important: After restoring your changes, click Save Post or Save Event to save your work permanently.
Keep the browser tab open until you've completed the recovery process.
Maintain Events
Open an Event from the dashboard to update it and save again. Dated Events are grouped as upcoming or past from their Event Date; recurring Events stay in the upcoming group. To remove an Event, select Del and confirm.
