Content Studio / Getting Started
Publishing for the First Time
Publish the project for the first time and confirm that Content Studio is available.
Before You Publish
Confirm that the Admin component and any public display components are already placed and configured. Make sure the intended administration page exists and that you can publish to the site’s real hosting destination.
Publish the Site
Publish the Elements project to the real hosting destination. The server must run the published PHP pages normally, and the published site must be reachable in a browser.
Verify the Administration Page
Open the published administration page. If this is a new installation, Content Studio displays its initialization screen. If PHP source code appears or the page cannot load, resolve the hosting or publishing issue before continuing.
What Publishing Creates
The first publish places the Content Studio application and supporting files at the hosting destination. Content Studio creates its site-specific content and configuration storage when you explicitly begin initialization. Do not manually edit those files.
Future Publishes
Normal republishes update the published application while preserving existing Content Studio content, settings, media, and Smart Image assignments.
Next Step
Keep the published administration page open and continue to Initializing Content Studio.
