Content Studio / Troubleshooting
Media Upload Problems
Diagnose upload limits, permissions, formats, and destination issues.
What This Usually Means
The file is unsupported, exceeds a Content Studio or server limit, fails image validation, or cannot be written to the runtime Assets folder.
Check the File
1. Use a JPG or JPEG, PNG, WebP, or GIF image.
2. Keep each image at or below 8 MB.
3. Upload no more than 12 images at once.
4. Confirm that the file opens as a valid image. Renaming an unsupported file with an image extension will not make it valid.
Check the Site
1. Retry with one small supported image.
2. Review System Health and confirm that the Assets folder exists and is writable.
3. If the upload is rejected before Content Studio can process it, ask the host to review the PHP request-size limit.
4. If writes fail or storage is full, ask the host or site developer to review folder permissions and available server space.
If Uploads Still Fail
Record the exact error message and the file type and size, then contact the site developer or hosting provider. Do not replace the runtime Assets folder or upload files directly into it as a workaround.
