Content Studio / Troubleshooting

Starter Content Did Not Appear

Check initialization and data conditions when starter content is missing.

What This Usually Means

Starter content is installed only when Install Starter Content is chosen during first-time setup. It is not added by publishing, updating, signing in, or opening Content Studio later.

Check in Order

1. Confirm whether Install Starter Content or Start Empty was chosen during setup.

2. Confirm that you are viewing the intended published Content Studio installation.

3. Check Posts, Events, Media Manager, and Smart Images. Starter content may not appear in every workspace.

4. If setup was interrupted, preserve the current runtime data and ask the site developer to inspect the installation before taking further action.

What You Can Do Safely

If Start Empty was selected or the site was already initialized, create the required content normally. There is no supported customer control for installing the starter set into an existing initialized site.

When to Escalate

Contact the site developer if starter content was selected but no starter items appear. Do not delete runtime files or initialize the site again to force another attempt.
