Content Status

Understand draft and published status across Content Studio content.

Draft

Draft Posts and Events are saved in Content Studio but are not available to public Post List or Event List components.

Published

Published content is eligible for public display. It still must match the filters and other display settings on the relevant Post List or Event List component.

Scheduled or Future Posts

A Post with Scheduled status is not public. A Published Post with a future Publish Date also remains private until that date arrives. The dashboard groups these cases under the exact label Scheduled or Future. Scheduled status does not automatically become Published when a date arrives; change the status to Published when the Post should become eligible.

Events and Timing

Events do not use a future Publish Date gate. Only Published Events are public: a future-dated Event can appear as upcoming, a dated Event moves to past after its Event Date, and a recurring Event remains in the ongoing/upcoming presentation. A stored Scheduled Event remains non-public until it is Published.

Public Display Eligibility

Status is only one part of visibility. Content type, dates, and the configuration of the Post List or Event List component also determine whether and where eligible content appears.
