Content Studio / Troubleshooting
Site Moved to a New Location
Restore Content Studio connections after a published site changes location.
What This Usually Means
The published application and its site-specific runtime data are no longer together at the expected location, or a published destination still points to the previous site address.
Check the Moved Site
1. Open a public page that uses Content Studio content and confirm that existing items and images appear.
2. Open the administration page and sign in.
3. Confirm that cyclops-cms and the existing sibling cyclops-cms-data folder are present at the new published location.
4. Review System Health for the runtime path, Posts, Events, Assets, settings, and private-file protection.
5. Confirm that Posts, Events, uploaded media, Smart Images, and Smart Image assignments remain available as applicable.
6. In Elements, review Preview Page if Save & Preview still points to the old location.
7. Review Logout to and its Home Page URL, Posts Page URL, or Custom URL if logout sends users to the previous address.
Safe Recovery
If application files are incomplete, republish them without replacing runtime data. If cyclops-cms-data is missing, restore the matching backup beside cyclops-cms. Contact the site developer before combining data from different site copies.
