PHP Page Shows Source Code
Correct a server configuration that displays PHP source instead of running it.
What This Usually Means
The server is sending the PHP file as text instead of running it. This is a server or hosting configuration problem, not a Content Studio content problem.
Check in Order
1. Open the published page through its web address. Do not open the PHP file directly from a local folder.
2. Confirm that the site is hosted on a PHP-capable web server.
3. Confirm that the host provides PHP 8.0 or later and executes files ending in .php.
4. Confirm that the page was uploaded to the intended site location and was not renamed with a non-PHP extension.
When to Contact Your Host
If a published .php page still appears as source text, ask the hosting provider to enable normal PHP execution for that site before using Content Studio.
